TimberCrest Premium Vinyl Siding Installation with Board and Batten Peak Accent (Clay) - Hicksville, Ohio

This was a standard removal and installation of new TimberCrest premium vinyl siding, although there were two buildings (the main home and a detached garage).  All the old vinyl was removed, substrate shored up, and a tight housewrap installed and sealed with seam tape.  One side of the home was particularly cold, so we installed a 1/4″ fanfold foam insulation for a little extra R-value.  Also, the homeowner had us remove a faux support post dividing up the 18′ garage door opening.  It was installed at some point as an architectural feature, but made for a tight entry/exit for the garage – it served no structural purpose.  Features of TIMBERCREST PREMIUM VINYL SIDING include a wider variety of deeper color choices (this particular color is CLAY), extra thickness (.046″ vs .040″) to repel hail and other objects, heavy duty nailing strip, larger butt (for extra depth appeal), steel starter (as opposed to vinyl), a 216 MPH wind rating (versus 160 MPH), and a LIFETIME WARRANTY (along with a 25 year fade warranty). You really can’t beat the quality of this product. For this particular home, we also installed a matching vinyl BOARD AND BATTEN vertical siding (8″ spacing) on the front peak as well as in an enclosed porch.  As always, estimates are FREE: 419-212-3200.
