WARM FEET! This old farmhouse has original hardwood flooring throughout the upstairs bedrooms, but the problem is that it’s in rough shape with large gaps between the boards. This allows a cold winter draft to penetrate the room, not to mention a number of splinters in small bare feet! The affordable solution was to install a good quality Tarkett laminate flooring (no glue or fasteners required – usually around 99 cents per sq/ft). In addition to brightening the room and sealing the gaps, the occupants get a small amount of insulation from the foam underlayment pad that is required prior to installation. To finish the look, I installed a solid poplar pre-primed quarter round. Looks great! I have a standard per/square/foot charge for laminate floor installation, which includes the foam underlayment and quarter round installation. Call for a FREE ESTIMATE! 419-212-3200
