This project was completed in the summer of 2010. The steel was installed over the old shingle roof, saving labor cost and unnecessary debris removal. To accommodate the curved nature of the roof, we started by attaching each piece of steel at the eve (bottom edge) and worked our way to the top using 2″ pole barn screws. As you can see, the steel adapted nicely to the curvature, resulting in a great look and a 50 year warranty! Hope I look this good at the age of 50.
