NICE UPGRADE! I was commissioned to update the existing base & casing in this home. The old trim was quite loose with numerous gaps and other issues. The new baseboard is 4 1/4″ solid pine colonial – the extra height is to cover up the old paint lines from the previous trim. I also used extra wide casing (3 1/4″ rather than 2 1/4″) to cover the same unsightly paint lines around the doorways. The homeowner pre-painted the trim before I installed, which makes it much easier to do before it is all attached to the walls. All in all, this is a great way to update the look of the interior of any home! 419-212-3200
