A typical shower replacement like this will take 2-3 days, depending on if a new shower door is included. My flat rate price includes complete and careful removal of the existing shower unit, new shut-off valves (if applicable), and installation of the new shower unit into a sturdy mortar bed for strength and longevity. One of my main reasons for installing this particular type of shower is that it requires no caulk due to the self-sealing flange that seals the joints from water penetration. This Lyons Wave shower/surround features an ultra gloss acrylic surface for easy cleaning, coupled with a reinforced fiberglass backing for strength, and will fit in most standard 36″ alcoves.
