GOODBYE 1970!  These homeowners had a vision of updating their 1970’s kitchen, as well as opening up some space.  The old U-shaped kitchen workspace was rather tight, so the plan was to remove the peninsula, add more cabinets/counter top along the back wall, and then move the sink & dishwasher to a nicely placed island.  All of this consisted of rough electrical and plumbing reconfigurations.  The end result is as attractive as it is functional!  Cabinets are Truffle Maple with Brekenridge door style (by Shenandoah).  A solid maple crown moulding and nickel knobs/pulls complete the sharp look.  Countertops are a solid quartz provided by Cutting Edge Countertops of Perrysburg, Ohio – very nice!  The new 5/8 HP garbage disposal is operated by a nifty air pressure switch located up on the sink top – watertight and easy to operate.  Backsplash is hex pattern porcelain tile mosaic with slate gray pre-sealed grout.  Flooring is a quality luxury vinyl plank by Smartcore, which, in most cases, can be installed right over existing flooring (provided it is solid and level).  After some new pendant, LED disc, and under-cabinet lighting, this room really pops!  Appliances are all new stainless as well.  I can turn your kitchen vision into reality!  All you have to do is call for your FREE ESTIMATE: 419-212-3200
