SELECTIVE REMODEL!  In order to save a few bucks, the homeowners decided to keep the existing cabinets and give them a facelift via a good paint job and new hardware.  This is always an option; I will work with you 100% on how much or how little you wish to address.  To really punctuate the new look, the counter top was replaced with a laminate Basalt Slate color along with a new stainless double sink and faucet.  The heavily-dated back splash was replaced with a nifty old-timey tin stamped accent (100% PVC – Class A Fire Rated).  I removed some old paneling and refinished the lower walls (drywall thin coat).  There was a tall window that I removed and walled up the bottom to install a smaller, more efficient window at the top.  This allows the capacity for future cabinetry along that wall while still inviting natural light into the kitchen.  Along the opposite wall, there was a lonely range hood over the stove, so I hung a new prefinished white 30″ cabinet for additional storage and to balance out the area.  The old ceiling light chandelier was removed in favor of a new 12″ x 48″ high-efficiency LED strip light fixture that resembles the old fluorescent fixtures from back in the day.  Super bright!  Finally, we capped off this kitchen remodel with some nifty luxury vinyl plank flooring (Praline by Shaw) which was installed right over top of the existing floor covering.  All in all, this kitchen has a brand new, updated look without the heavy cost of an entire gut job.  As I’ve said, together we can customize your kitchen remodel to fulfill your dreams while staying within your budget.  Just give me a shout!  419-212-3200
