This existing 16′ overhead garage door was warped and no longer functioning due to a spring issue and the track being half torn down (he had a ladder holding it up). The homeowner wished to have a smaller 9′ garage door installed and attached to the existing opener. The old door was removed, walls built in from each side, and new vinyl siding installed. Due to there being no drip cap, there was quite a bit of rotten sheeting to replace. New white vinyl jam trim and brickmould was applied, with a proper drip cap. Finally, a new IDEAL TRADITIONAL GARAGE DOOR was installed with a torsion spring kit. The door was properly supported with a strut and then attached to the existing opener.
