A WHOLE NEW BUILDING?  Although it is a bit pricier ($90 per square vs. $50 per square), I prefer to install premium TimberCrest vinyl siding on all my jobs. Honestly, you get what you pay for. Features of TIMBERCREST PREMIUM VINYL SIDING include a wider variety of deeper color choices (this particular color is KHAKI), extra thickness (.046″) to repel hail and other objects, heavy duty nailing strip, larger butt (for extra depth appeal), steel starter (as opposed to vinyl), a 216 MPH wind rating (versus 160 MPH), and a LIFETIME WARRANTY (along with a 25 year fade warranty). You really can’t beat the quality of this product.  When installing vinyl siding over a structure such as this, I always like to remove the existing siding (if possible) and tightly wrap the house with Typar before proceeding.  Windows are new construction Crestline with nailing fins and a proper sticky membrane window flashing to ensure a watertight seal.  All wood overhang trim was covered with aluminum fascia and soffit as well (gutters were fairly new, so they were left in place).  Finally, the old garage doors had seen better days and were not in working condition.  New Ideal non-insulated 7×9 overhead doors were installed (15 year paint warranty) along with a nifty wifi enabled Chamberlain garage door opener.  To cap off the new look, bright white vinyl trim was installed around the garage door openings and windows , achieving the maintenance-free goal that was desired!  This structure really looks like an entirely new building.  How can I help your garage?  419-212-3200
