FlexStone® is a unique composite material developed to achieve the look of natural stone without the cost and maintenance hassles associated with real stone. Sampled from real stone and granite slabs, FlexStone® provides a flawless, high-resolution visual reproduction of actual stone, but unlike tile grout and natural stone, it won’t mold or mildew and is easy to clean. It is elegant, durable, lightweight, and comes in a large variety of colors. This particular color is Creme Travertine. As always, we install the shower base in a solid mortar bed and replace the plumbing from the floor up, including new shut-off valves! The FlexStone kit comes with one shelf, but the homeowner wished to have us add an inset shelf and corner seat. The new look is fantastic!
