This deck had a few rotten floor boards and the hand rails were quite warped and twisted, but the structure was still solid. Rather than throwing thousands of dollars into a new deck construction, the homeowners wanted a low-cost option for upgrading the existing deck. My solution was to replace a few floor boards and the handrails, as well as the stair treads. Finally, I cleaned it with a biodegradable deck wash and pressure washed it three times. In a couple of weeks, the homeowners will apply the finish coat and this deck will look as good as new!
