TOTAL GUT! This bathroom was brought out of the 1970s and into modern times!  To start, the outdated green paneling was removed, which then required a professional skim coat to smooth over the remaining adhesive.  Much appreciation to Walter Drywall Finishing, LLC for their hard work and professionalism!  Tub was cast iron, so the only feasible way to remove it is with a sledge hammer (and surgical precision)!  As always, the entire tub alcove is stripped clean to the studs.  New fiberglass/acrylic tub is placed in a sturdy mortar bed for years of strength, and the surround is fastened to studs with both screws and construction adhesive.  Surround requires no caulk as the walls are self-sealing with a hidden gasket.  My price includes all necessary drywall work sanded smooth for you to prime and paint, as well as all new plumbing from the floor up.  In addition, the vanity is a 48″ Briarwood Woodland with Birch Glacier marble top – faucet is a high quality Delta Porter (nickel finish).  Price includes new quarter-turn shut-off valves, stainless braided supply lines, and trap.  Floor covering is a lifetime luxury vinyl plank by SmartCore – Jackson White Oak.  This flooring is able to be installed over existing hard floors, provided they are relatively smooth, sound, and even.  This remodel was topped off with new light fixtures and a quality 110 CFM Broan bath exhaust fan with LED light. This process can usually be completed in under one week.  Give me a shout if I can help with your bathroom remodel visions! 419-212-3200
