This large utility/laundry room was upgraded to a full bathroom. First step was to move the doorway 48″ to create a tub alcove for the easy-to-clean Lyons Elite tub and surround. All necessary rough plumbing was added for the tub, a 48″ Tuscany vanity, and new toilet, as well as moving existing plumbing/electrical for the laundry area across the room where an old storage area was previously located. In addition, a powerful 130 CFM Broan exhaust fan/LED light was added where the old light fixture was originally located. The new GE washer and dryer were stacked to save space. Old carpet was removed and a high quality Shaw vinyl plank flooring was installed (Bellmont Aria), along with solid pine baseboard trim. All walls were shored up, patched, primed, and painted with Sherwin-Williams paint (color is Evergreen Fog). Finally, the old closet door was upgraded to a bifold door with brand new casing trim.
