Quite the pitch, eh!  This was a rough one.  Three layers were removed to start this roofing job (two asphalt, one wood shake).  We installed 7/16″ sheeting to achieve a smooth subsurface for the laminate shingles to come.  Due to the shade and continual moisture, we installed zinc strips along the peak (both sides) to combat the formation of algae.  The result – a great looking cottage on Hamilton Lake with a great looking, 30 year, watertight roof!
