We were commissioned to build a full-length porch on the front of this home. In doing so, new rafters must be installed a few feet up the existing roof to create pitch and prevent eave leakage. The porch is 8′ x 65′ and is completely low maintenance UltraDeck Inspire composite material (the two colors are Fieldstone Gray and Sandstone Gray, to create a darker/lighter contrast – 25 year warranty). It features two stairway exits and a solid vertical deck board skirting to prevent critters from digging under the structure. All the ceiling and overhang trim is a commercial grade aluminum soffit and fascia. The rail system is a low maintenance high quality vinyl by Fypon with colonial posts and spindles for a country look (lifetime warranty).
